The aim of the seminars will be both inclusive, in that they will attract leading representatives from various institutions and field of politics, policy makers and opinion shapers, including businesspeople (especially entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs), politicians including (cross-party members of Westminster and European Parliaments), diplomats, academics, civil society representatives, members of public (including students and your professionals) and the media as well as thematically comprehensive in their content, offering speakers and the audience an opportunity to explore the various viewpoints of the In/Out EU referendum debate. Panels may be cross-party in composition, as senior party members have been invited to join in this debate.

The events in this series are kindly supported by the European Commission Representation in the UK and hosted by Rudi Guraziu, Executive Chairman of IBDE.

In addition, this series will be covering key issues that are considered to be highly important to businesses working in a European context, focusing in particular on:

• The UK’s forthcoming EU referendum and the consequences of a potential Brexit?

• What UK-EU relationship we are likely to see developing following the referendum?

• Raising awareness and understanding of the EU Policies and UK’s relationship with EU and its member states

• Debating challenges ahead of UK and EU on freedom of movement of goods, services and people

• The impact of the EU Membership on financial, economic, trade & investment policies as well as regulatory issues.

• Why the UK should stay in the EU?

• How could Brexit be beneficial for the UK?

• What would be the challenges and opportunities for the UK/EU business if Britain leaves the EU?

• How would Brexit affect the UK's bilateral relationships, its security and its role in the world?

• How would Brexit affect the EU, and what would be the wider geopolitical impact for UK/EU?
