IBDE's First Informal EU Ambassadorial Luncheon

Exploring the future of UK-EU Relationship following the UK's EU Referendum

Date: 21 September 2016

Venue: Central London

Special invitation only

Brexit will provide a significant change in the way the UK will engage with its international partners in the future. As a consequence, the UK will not only have to negotiate a new relationship with the EU, but will also have to replace all its current trade agreements with third countries. Given IBDE is the only organisation that covers international commercial and trade diplomacy, we believe we will play an invaluable role in this regard. As a result of these changes we plan to launch a number of working groups covering key policy and geographical areas including the EU. The purpose of these discussion groups will be to facilitate the post-referendum policy dialogue and the ways in which IBDE can play a constructive role and support the UK Government, European Commission and our Embassy and Business Partners.
