IBDE Business Members participating in seminars can develop expertise in:
· promoting their companies abroad and fostering internationalisation.
· communicating effectively with non-business interests and pressure groups to safeguard corporate images
· forestalling potential conflicts with stakeholders thereby minimising political risks
· mastery of the use of diplomatic instruments, protocol, etiquette and practice.
Meetings and Seminars are organised through a planned annual program but will also be responsive to input from participants, as well as to issues that suddenly arise and dominate the international political and business agenda. They are open to IBDE members and guests only, unless otherwise indicated. Conclusions from our meetings and seminars will be offered in our reports and private briefing papers only at the request of the Board of Directors acting on behalf of membership.
