Exchange Magazine

IBDE will soon be publishing its magazine - 'EXCHANGE: The Magazine for International Business and Diplomacy' (cover image by David Iliff)

On the first introductory Issue we are seeking papers/articles on topics covering the relationship between  International business and diplomacy, International trade agreements their impact and implementation, as well as analysis of various international financial/economic institutions plus other international organisations. While for our second issue we are looking for papers/articles which would contribute towards the understanding of the role of international business in areas such as conflict, crisis management, regional security and perhaps an article on terrorism and its impact on international business. We feel that there is a need for greater cooperation between academics of international affairs/relations that focus on conflict analysis as well as the link between security, trade and investment with scholars of international business/economics offering new insights that reflect the role of international business in today's rapidly changing world economic picture.

In addition to our research and analysis papers we invite diplomats across the globe to share their experiences and insights on business and diplomacy. We would also welcome short pieces as a part of our section for 'blue sky thinking' and 'tips' for international business executives and business diplomats.

Please bear in mind that the maximum length is 1000 words. We require authors to forward a passport-size picture with their profile, which will be shown alongside the publication. We also ask that you provide an autobiographical byline below the article.
